It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of James "Jim" Murphy. Jim or Murph has been employed with Dover Schools since August of 1991. He drove a bus route for us for 30 years and continued on as our maintenance man. Jim loved the students of Dover School and he took great pride in being their bus driver. He also loved the staff and we all loved him. Jim and his mischievous way could always make you smile. We will miss him so very much.
Jim's Funeral will be Friday, November 15th at 10:00 am in the Dover High School Gym.
In honor of Jim, we would like our students and the Dover Longhorn Family to wear red on Friday.
School will be in session on Friday.

As we begin another basketball season tonight please take a few minutes to remember sportsmanship and appropriate behavior, while at games and on social media. We desire all Dover fans to enjoy basketball season and cheer loudly for our teams. However, attending activities is a privilege that can be lost due to poor behavior. Please keep in mind the following.
1. Our players and coaches are doing their best!
2. Officials are human, they will make mistakes. (Just like all of us.)
3. As fans it is our job to cheer for our team, not taunt our opponent.
