Kayci and Emma goggled-up in third grade this week! They made Elephant Toothpaste. Giving their class a chance to see how the sodium iodide reacts with the hydrogen peroxide by removing an oxygen atom. This essentially produces water and oxygen gas. The oxygen gas produced gets trapped in the soap which produces the big ball of foam. Way to go ladies! Science for the win.

Unfortunately we did not have enough out of town teams sign up in our 3rd&4th grade divisions for our Saturday morning basketball league, so we will not have those divisions playing this year. We do however have enough to teams to make a league in our Prek-K and 1st&2nd grade divisions. Sign-up sheets will go home with Dover students in PreK-2nd grade tomorrow. Please return those to school by next week if possible or by October 9th at the very latest. If you have a Dover student in grades PreK-2nd please look over the sign-up sheet and information letter that will be sent home with your child tomorrow. (9/26/24) We hope to gain traction this year so we can include 3rd&4th grades next year.
