Dover Public Schools will be taking a Mental Health Day on Friday, August 29. There will be NO SCHOOL. I know this causes an inconvenience for you, but I hope you understand that our students and staff has been through a very stressful, emotional, and difficult week. Dover Schools believes that this would be best for our students and staff to not return to school on Friday after the funeral on Thursday afternoon. Hopefully with Labor Day Monday a four-day break could begin to allow our staff and students to decompress and let the healing process begin. I ask that you continue to monitor your children during this difficult time and reach out to us if we can be of any assistance. We can find resources that you or your child may need.

Baseball games today have been called off due to the rain.
Celebration of Life for Lexi Robles will be Thursday, August 28, 2025 at 2:30 pm in the Dover High School Gymnasium.
Dover Schools will be dismissing students at 12:30 pm on Thursday. Buses will run at 12:30 pm.

It is with great sadness that we inform you a Dover student passed away yesterday. We send our condolences to family, friends, and our community. Tomorrow we have arranged additional counselors to be available to speak with students, staff, and the community. Please keep this family and our school in your thoughts and prayers.

Welcome Back, Teachers and Staff!! Today starts in-service for the Dover School Staff for the 2025-2026 school year. We have an amazing faculty that are doing great things for our students!
School Supply Assistance
REMINDER.... Enrollment for the 2025-2026 School year is tomorrow, July 22nd and Wednesday, July 23rd. ALL families must attend one of these 2 dates.
***Students that attended Dover Schools last year do not need to bring anything to enrollment.

Sports physicals will be provided for all Dover athletes on Tuesday July 15th from 10am-1pm in the gym lobby. Physicals are required for all athletes who participate in JH and HS athletics. NO ATHLETE WILL BE ALLOWED TO PARTICIPATE IN PRACTICE OR GAMES PRIOR TO RECIEVING A PHYSICAL. Parents do not have to be present during the examination but multiple forms do require parent signatures. Forms will be available in the school office on Monday July 14th or Tuesday morning before examinations begin. These physicals are being provided free of charge by the state department of health but families can opt to have the physical performed by their family physician.
